The Stanislavski Experience  ::: Nick O’Brien - Director of The Stanislavski Experience | Stanislavski Acting Coach

Nick O’Brien

Nick trained as an Actor and Director for 3 years under Sam Kogan who was a pupil of  Maria Knebel one of Stanislavski’s pupils at the Moscow Art Theatre.

He has a PGCE in Drama from Keele University. He has recently completed filming on Yesterday We Were in America and a run as Lomov in Chekhov’s The Proposal. Theatre credits include Anuchkin in Marriage at the Schepkin Theatre, Elyot Chase in Private Lives at the Shaw Theatre, Seeley in Pinter’s A Night Out, Stags and Hens at The Gatehouse, Noises Off, Cards of The Gambler, Frank in Fen, Good Person of Sechuan, Bamforth in The Long, The Short and The Tall, and touring as Bruce Delamitri in Ben Elton’s Popcorn. Film credits include D.C. Smith in Mysophobia, D.I. Slater in Finding Eduardo, and Simon in Serenading Rodents.  Television credits include Joe in the critically acclaimed HBO series Band of Brothers, Alex in Hide’n’Seek (BBC1) and Vanya in The Life of Stanislavski (BBC2). Recent Directing credits include One Flew over the Cuckoos Nest, Top Girls, The Assembley Women,  Pinter’s Old Times, Chekhov’s The Bear , The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole and the Joseph O’Connor play Red Roses and Petrol. Nick teaches Stanislavski based Acting technique at Excel School of Performing Arts and B.S.A. he is also Head of Drama at the North London Performing Arts Centre.  Nick has worked for Edexcel for as number of years as an Examiner and Moderator.

 


The Stanislavski Experience ::: Ian Flintoff  Actor and Director | Shakespeare Masterclass leader  

Ian Flintoff

Ian Flintoff has worked with the National Theatre, the Royal Shakespeare Company, and on the stage at the Old Vic, London. He has appeared in numerous television programmes, including Coronation Street, Brookside, Prime Suspect, A Touch of Frost, The Bill, and many TV dramas. His other stage work includes many tours around main house regional theatres, as well as the Edinburgh Festival and on the London fringe. He has directed in main houses such as the Lyceum Theatre in Crewe, and for several London fringe productions. His writing includes three film commissions and were shown on general release and on television, fiction for BBC radio, and a musical version of A Christmas Carol, together with modern and relevant dramas on the fringe, in his own translations or original composition.

Annie Sutton

Annie trained with Desmond Jones in Mime and Physical Theatre and at Ecole Jacques Lecoq. She has a PGCE (distinction) in Film and Drama. She has recently completed touring as the Wife in Steven Berkoff’s Greek. Annie has performed at Salisbury Playhouse, Colchester Mercury, Manchester Royal Exchange, Leicester Haymarket, Wycombe Swan, Bath Theatre Royal and was part of Cheltenham Everyman’s regular company where favourite roles were Angela in A Blue Remembered Hills as part of the Channel 4 Dennis Potter Tribute season, Greta in Steven Berkoff’s Metamorphosis .
Her West End acting credits include The Shape of Things at the Ambassadors, The Guardsman at the Albery, Othello at the Royal Opera House and Cinderella at the Arts Theatre.
Television appearances in a series of Harry and Cosh ,Family Affairs, Treasures in Trust ,Talk Read and Write, Bitesize English and The Killing Zone.
Annie works regularly as a tutor for Dramart She has worked for Hampstead Theatre, Royal Court, the Globe ,Theatre Centre, Unicorn and Cheltenham Literature Festival as a freelance practitioner

 

 

The Stanislavski Experience  ::: Yuli Ochiai Actor and Director | Directing Workshop leader  

Yuuka Ochiai

Yuuka trained as an actor at the Guidford School of Acting before going on to train as a theatre Director at ASAD. Theatre credits include: Irena in Three Sisters, Vampiress in Dracula at the Hackney Empire, The Countess in A Little Night Music, Hannah in Funky Stuff at the Kings Head and Anna in Pinter’s Old Times. For Film Bo in Bridget Jones Diary 2 and Shine in Femming. Television includes Hustle for the BBC and Reality Check for Channel 4. Directing credits include Terrence Rattigan's In Praise of Love and Hamlet. Yuuka assisted on the Musical Lucky Stiffat the Canal Café Theatre which was nominated for the 2003 People’s Choice Musical. Yuuka has taught Acting at the YMCA and taught for a number of years at Stagecoach Theatre Schools.

 

 

The Stanislavski Experience ::: Andy Snowball Actor | Drama Workshop leader  

Andy Snowball

Andy trained at the The Actors Company at the London Centre for Theatre Studies. Theatre credits include: Forbidden for the New Arts Theatre, Party Poppers and The Nearly Men for the Sixth Sense Theatre Company, The Fancy Man at the Tabard Theatre, Ten Out of Ten at the Soho Theatre and as William Shatner in I am Star Trek at the Shaw Theatre. Shakespeare includes Richard III for the Actors Company. Television includes: Erich Frentz in Warsaw Uprising for BBC2, Lt. Col. Saunders in D Day, Charles Darwin in Meet the Ancestors and Kit Dawney in D Day to Berlin all for the BBC. Andy has a PGCE from Liverpool University and is an experienced teacher and workshop leader.

 

 

Beverley Eve  

Beverley Eve

Beverley trained as an Actor and Director at ASAD. Theatre credits include Lisa in Windermere, Cynthia in What Will Be Will Be, Narrator in the No. 1 tour of Wind in the Willows, Celia / Rowena in a Cricket Match at the Eye Theatre, Fyokla in Gogol’s Marriage at the Moscow Arts Theatre and Brooke Daniels in Ben Elton’s Popcorn. Film includes Sarah in The Pool currently in post production,  Party Girl in Night Junkies, Bella in Nobody the Great, Mira in Unto the Last and Carrie in Right Side of Maybe. Beverley has taught Acting Technique at Drama Schools and brings with her a wealth of on screen expertise to the delivery of workshops.
